10 Movies That Need A TV Spin-Off

6. X-Men

Granted, we've already had a ridiculous number of X-Men films, as well as countless animated series and so on, but what about a mutant series that somehow slots into the mythology of these films? While it would be a stretch to get Hugh Jackman or any of the other bigger cast members back for an episodic format, what about focusing on the B-team X-Men characters? It would mean a compromise of what the X-Men are, yes, unless the roles were re-cast - but then it'd also have to opt out of the movie mythology - but we'd just love to see this world examined in more depth in a TV show. It's a tricky one to work out logistically, but if an enterprising showrunner can make it work, then this one would have the potential to be huge; we all remember how insanely popular Heroes was when it first began, and Smallville managed to run for 10 seasons...
