In any other decade, being based on a collection of highly successful books naturally meant that excitement and speculation will surround every stage of production. However this was the 2010s, where Young Adult franchise hopefuls were a dime a dozen. So the fact that The Hunger Games series was able to rise to the top, and be so influential to many others around it, was truly remarkable.

Its impact meant that each new franchise entry would be more anticipated than the one before, and as we've seen previously on this list, with increased hype comes increased security. Much like the series' titled event, the tactics employed by the studio were more to deter potential nuisances than prevent their occurrence. All it took was a few changed words to each copy of the script given out. That way if a script leak did happen, they would easily be able to trace it back to the source.

In such a scenario, the guilty script holder would most likely have been kicked off of the production (at the very least). So, ironically, their ability to single out the one responsible meant that nobody can volunteer as tribute to get you out of this one.
