6. World War Z
Max Brooks wrote an awesome book, though, one that seemed unfilmable. Leave it to Hollywood to take their best (or second, or third, or fourth best) shot. Word leaking out from the set during production was rarely good -- then the film was delayed and almost scrapped. They attempted to solve their "third act problems" by hiring new writers and reshooting. This rarely works and usually ends in a Frankensteined monster of a movie. (see: GI Joe: Retaliation) The trailers have looked more promising the closer the film gets to release but if this thing goes south, imagine all the people who worked so hard seeing their hard work used to such ill effect - not pleasant. Not to mention people mistaking the movie for a news broadcast and losing their minds. (that happens, there are some less than peak performers in this world) I think there are already picket lines forming because Damon Lindelof worked as a consultant on the script. (seriously guys, lay off, Prometheus wasnt that bad). Then you add the moment when the Walking Dead zombies start talking trash to the World War Z zombies? We're in a heap of trouble. Wheres the Governor when you need him?
