Cult horror favourite Stuart Gordon trades in H.P. Lovecraft and Jeffrey Combs for something a little more modern, but no less grotesque - the stuck-in-a-windshield horror movie Stuck.

In it, nursing assistant Brandi (Mena Suvari!) accidentally commits a hit and run, hitting down-and-out Thomas with her car. But Thomas doesn't die, instead getting trapped in Brandi's windshield, slowly bleeding out.

Thinking of herself and her career, Brandi drives home - Thomas and all - and waits for her poor victim to die. Gordon puts his talent for grisly gore to good use, ensuring that the audience is in almost as much discomfort as poor Thomas.

There's still nothing else in it as terrifying as Mena Suvari's white girl corn-rows though.
