5. Queenie Goldstein - Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore
When Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them released back in 2016, it opened up a whole new part of the Wizarding World. In 1920s New York, immediately one of the most popular new characters was Queenie Goldstein. The superbly talented Legilimens was incredibly likeable, and had an instant connection with Jacob.
It was this connection that would ultimately see Queenie fall to Grindelwald's dark side. After helping Newt and co. in their fight against the villainous wizard, her love for Jacob became too much. Under wizarding law, she wasn't allowed to marry him as he was a No-Maj, which is exactly what Grindelwald exploited to seduce her to his side at the end of The Crimes of Grindelwald.
Potentially knowing the extent of her powers, Grindelwald promised his followers that this kind of marriage would be no issue under his rule, that he was fighting for equality, and so Queenie defected. It doesn't matter the intention or the reason, no matter how pure, what she did was the equivalent of someone like Fred or George Weasley joining Voldemort.
Though by the end of The Secrets of Dumbledore she had found her way back to the good guys, and married Jacob all the same, that didn't come until after Queenie had used her skills to act as a spy of sorts for her new boss, helping him to manipulate Credence Barebone along the way.
