10 Movies With Crazy Foreshadowing You Totally Missed

3. "You May Fold Under Questioning..." - Goodfellas

Ray Liotta Goodfellas

A tiny little moment of foreshadowing here, but a great one, nonetheless. Think back to that "hilarious" (but downright terrifying) scene in Goodfellas where Tommy DeVito (Joe Pesci) deploy his infamous "Funny how?" routine on an unsuspecting - and mortified - Henry Hill (Ray Liotta).

After busting the poor guy's balls and pretending to be supremely offended by what is essentially a minor observation, Tommy reveals that he's actually kidding. But then Tommy deploys the following line: "Frankie, was he shaking? I wonder about you sometimes, Henry. You may fold under questioning."

It's a seemingly throwaway dialogue cue, but it does - in fact - hint at future events in Martin Scorsese's fantastic picture. After all, Henry Hill eventually gets out of the game when he becomes an FBI informant. So Tommy's jokey character analysis... well, it wasn't far off. And so this instance of foreshadowing imbues an already iconic scene with an added layer of awesomeness - bravo.
