10 Movies With Different Endings In Different Countries

Clue is one of the prime examples of a film with multiple endings shown in different theatres. Whilst it was not released internationally, we think the fact that you can fit most of the countries of Europe inside the U.S makes this a fair inclusion.

In keeping with the multiple possible endings of Cluedo, four different endings were filmed that revealed different culprits behind the murder of Mr Boddy, although only three were shown in theatres.

Naturally, depending on what theatre you visited you would see a different ending, but audiences didn't really fall for the gimmick. The film was met with mixed reviews from critics, and audiences weren't sold enough by the film's premise of multiple endings to go back for further viewings, meaning Clue couldn't even scrape back its $15 million budget.

Since the home media release, the updated version that's available on Netflix means you can watch all three endings in sequence at the end of the film. Sort of like a less meta version of Wayne's World.
