10 Movies With INSANE Casts You've Never Heard Of

5. Love & Distrust

Here's a movie so inexplicably star-studded and yet so little-known you couldn't be blamed for assuming that those involved had it scrubbed from the Internet.

Love and Distrust is a 2010 romantic drama anthology of five stories, with a stupid-good cast including Robert Pattinson, Amy Adams, Robert Downey Jr., James Franco, Allison Janney, Sam Worthington, Melissa McCarthy, Octavia Spencer, Michael Imperioli, Jim Rash, Talulah Riley, and most bafflingly of all, director James Cameron as himself.

Despite being packed to the gills with beloved A-and-B-listers, Love and Distrust ended up releasing direct-to-video, and to rub salt in the wound, there isn't even a single critical review for it on Rotten Tomatoes. The audience score of just 12% probably says it all, though - this is a film that likely got made because, like The Ten, the cast could try something new while each only had to spend a few days on set.

That Love and Distrust hasn't become a perverse cult film given its outrageously overqualified cast, though, is a bit of a head-scratcher - or perhaps a mere testament to how bad it truly is.
