10 Movies With Post-Credits Scenes That Change Everything

2. Masters Of The Universe

Revealing that a character didn€™t actually die happens quite a bit in these post-credits scenes. It€™s a way for the director to set up a sequel and not commit to a character€™s death, but to do it in a sneaky way so that this doesn€™t immediately take away from the impact of the movie€™s ending. Here€™s one that had every kid at the time going wild. At the end of the He-Man film, Masters of the Universe, Skeletor is thrown into a pit to his death, because that€™s pretty much how every villain was defeated back then. Of course, he has very clearly been killed and couldn€™t have possibly survived that fall, right? Guess that€™s the end of the movie and we can leave the theatre having seen everything important! Well actually, at the very end of the credits in some of the cheesiest few seconds ever, Skeletor pops out, looks directly at the camera and says €œI€™ll be back!€ If you were a kid and caught this little scene, you were so excited for the promise of another movie. But of course it never happened, making this bit pretty much completely pointless except to reveal that He-Man totally failed to kill the villain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2EUkkX16Lk
