10 Movies With Post-Credits Scenes That Change Everything

4. Fast Five

The Fast and Furious movies have a lot of awesome and surprising end credits sequences. Fast and Furious 6 had a pretty good one, where Jason Statham appears in a fun cameo that sets up the next movie. But the most shocking has got to be the end of Fast Five. In the fourth film, Fast & Furious, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) seems to pretty clearly be dead. She's chased down, her car flips, and she's left injured as the car explodes. Then, we get a scene at the end of the Fast Five credits that would completely alter the future of the franchise. Hobbes (Dwayne Johnson) is handed a file concerning a team of drivers who hijacked a military convoy in Berlin. Hobbes isn't really interested, but Monica Fuentes tells him to keep looking. He opens up the file and oh my god, it's Letty. She's still alive. "Do you believe in ghosts?" It's a pretty significant plot development that ends up being one of the biggest shocks of the film, yet once again it's something the average moviegoer might miss if they left the theatre early. Here's an example where the post-credits scene ended up being one of the film's biggest surprises, and one of the most talked about moments of the movie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOJV_dqucOc
