2. Drugs Are Awesome - Blow

Blow Blow is an entertaining drug movie starring Johnny Depp as real-life cocaine smuggler George Jung, though there's no denying the fact that it completely glorifies not just his smuggling activities, but the use of the drug, and the company he frequently finds himself in. The tone taken with Jung is oddly sympathetic, depicting him as a good, likeable person surrounded by some awful sorts who just want to bring him down. There's a real victim mentality, that we should feel sorry for George even though everything that happened was essentially a result of his illicit activities. Some might argue that the film does surrender the perils of Jung's position, but this is really just an addendum to how appealing and sexy they make it look throughout; Hell, just look at that poster grab above - if I could have Penelope Cruz draped over me like that, I'd start slinging rocks this second.
