10 Movies With Surprisingly High Body Counts

8. Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Narnia The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe
Disney

Disney's second instalment of the ever popular Pirates of the Carribean series hit our screens back in 2006 and was a roaring box office success.

Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom elevated themselves further up the tree with iconic performances as Jack Sparrow and Will Turner, while Keira Knightley aptly supported the pair.

With such action and excitement on the seas, there's an air of inevitability about the body count that will come with such scenes. Dead Man's Chest does not disappoint then on that front.

The majority of the 90 characters to meet their demise here are sailors who we don't really get to know, although there are a few notable deaths.

Most intriguingly in Dead Man's Chest we see Jack Sparrow devoured by the Kraken in what we are meant to believe is the end of the line for everyone's favourite pirate.

Of course with the money the series could make we were never going to fully fall for that, but Disney did their best and at least the majority of character loss here served a purpose.

Football, WWE, NBA, Pokemon, Star Wars, Breaking Bad. Father to two humans and one dog. At my most stressed when getting beat on NBA2K and blaming 'laggy internet' for all losses.
