10 Movies With Surprisingly High Body Counts
7. The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe
Andrew Adamson's 2005 adaptation of C.S. Lewis' epic fantasy tale finally brought to life some of our favourite characters from the land of Narnia.
While Aslan and Mr and Mrs Beaver are presented to us in typical Hollywood blockbuster fashion, few of us expected to see so many deaths in what is a typical family movie.
Fans of the books will have expected to see the White Witch meed her end, while Aslan also takes one for the team too, but there's an element of surprise to around 80 other deaths within the film.
The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe ultimately has a giant battle scene which accounts for plenty of the less important characters in the film meeting their end.
And while it's easy to say it can be a cop out to see so many people die off in one giant battle, seeing 86 people not make it out alive is still quite the shock.
