10 Movies With Surprisingly High Body Counts

4. Men In Black 3

What's that we hear you say? Another family blockbuster brought to our screens with a high death count? There's a pattern emerging here, isn't there?

The third installment of the Men in Black series went way overboard compared to the previous two films as it increased the body count ten fold in comparison to the previous efforts.

Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones reprise their roles as Agents J and K to brilliant effect and we even see a K killed as part of the story (he is of course brought back thanks to good old Will Smith).

Men in Black has brought plenty of pleasure to our screens over the years but a death count of 55 - that's without the aliens included - is a little extreme to say the least.

It's surprising really given that the previous films had little to no killing involved. Whether it was a case of just going with the flow of the story and seeing what happened, is a question only the directors will be able to answer.
