10 Movies You Didn't Know Had Secret Post-Credits Sequences

3. Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)

Perhaps one of very few self-referential and largely meta post-credit offerings, the little gem awaiting audiences at the end of John Hughes' teen classic Ferris Bueller's Day Off is rightfully snarky and belittling towards patient movie-goers who stuck around in the chance that something might happen.

In true Ferris mode, Matthew Broderick steps out in front of the camera, looks straight at the audiences and looks confused. Then, almost pityingly, he says, "You're still here? It's over. Go home." Then Ferris walks away, turning back once more to remind audiences that they still need to get out of the theatre: "Go!"
