10 Movies You Didn't Realise Had Post-Credit Scenes

8. Planes, Trains And Automobiles

Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets
Paramount Pictures

Planes, Trains and Automobiles is a classic holiday comedy movie with Steve Martin as the high strung Neil and John Candy as the kind but annoying Del. They embark on a three day adventure trying to get Neil back home for Thanksgiving in any hilarious way possible.

What many fans don't know about the classic comedy is that it has a funny little addition squirrelled away behind the credits.

The advertising executive that Neil was getting to look over photos at the beginning of the movie is seen still examining them with an untouched Thanksgiving dinner sat beside him. He hasn't been able to put them down ever since.

Its a brilliant call back to earlier in the film and answers a tiny detail that many fans probably forgot about.

If you have clicked on here, get ready to be bored. I'm just a 20 year old white male who has a (probably) unhealthy obsession with pop culture Film and TV. Handy in a trivia game but not much else. My parents were never murdered, I'm not avenging my dead wife. Just plain, old sat at a computer with a head full of knowledge I mostly don't use I was born and raised in the Black Country near Birmingham, England however am now living in Manchester, England after I moved here two years ago. I currently attend the University of Salford, studying Broadcast Journalism. That's it really. Told you there was nothing special. If you're really that desperate for something to do, follow me on socials. Yes, I do like that ego boost.
