Tucker and Dale vs. Evil is a terrifically entertaining horror-comedy from 2010, starring Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine as a pair of well-intentioned hillbillies who are mistaken for backwoods murderers by a group of hapless college students. Simply put, it's a blast, and if you haven't seen it yet, change that ASAP.

Given the film's cultural specificity with regard to "redneck" horror tropes, it didn't exactly seem like a ripe prospect for an international remake, then, but lo and behold, a South Korean reimagining was released totally outta nowhere this past summer.

Hilariously renamed Handsome Guys, this remake reportedly hews close(ish) to the original, though introduces a new supernatural element for good measure. Reviews say it lacks the extreme gore of Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, but still delivers a fun time regardless.

As horror remakes go, just about nobody had this on their bingo card, which actually might've helped it charm and disarm audiences.
