10 Movies You Need To Watch In 4K

6. The Matrix

Though The Matrix trilogy finally landed on 4K recently, the latter two releases are harmed a little by their sometimes less-than-stellar visual effects, which are only more ghastly when viewed at this higher resolution.

The original movie, however, holds up exceptionally well in the UHD format, with the visual effects (mostly) maintaining their integrity.

Best of all, the garish green hue applied to Matrix-set scenes in the previous Blu-ray release of the film - in order to make it stylistically consistent with the sequels - has been undone, ensuring this release is far closer to the original presentation.

If you're a fan of the movie this is a no-brainer, really, and what better stamp of endorsement do you need than original cinematographer Bill Pope overseeing the remaster?
