10 Movies You Should Only Watch Stoned

3. Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle

Watch Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle stoned but without any snacks in the house. You'll never be so invested in someone's journey to go get mini hamburgers.

Like Beavis & Butt-Head Do America, this is a relatively straightforward road trip movie that begins plainly and just keeps escalating until Neil Patrick Harris shows up high on ecstasy talking about going to get "fur burgers." It's a testament to how fantastical the simple tasks of getting high and finding food can become if you don't have your s--t together.

You'll probably giggle at every munchies and cop paranoia joke the duo makes - which are plentiful - but you'll likely have more fun playing the game of Where's Waldo? the director employs using a series of celebrity cameos, some of which are hard to detect even when you're sober. (Ryan Reynolds, Christopher Meloni, and Jamie Kennedy all show up at some point or another.)

And when Harold and Kumar finally get those glorious sliders, you won't see the disgusting gluttony any of your clear-eyed friends see. You'll see a moment of pure beauty.
