10 Movies You Should Watch (Even Though They Suck)

7. Chinese Zodiac

The Grey Man
Shanghai Film Group

Being the first movie Jackie Chan's directed in over a decade, Chinese Zodiac was meant to be a return to form for the martial arts legend. Wanting to make the best feature possible, Jackie took on 15 moviemaking roles, (which is a Guinness World Record), including actor, producer, composer, and choreographer. Because it became the most successful Jackie Chan movie in Chinese history, you'd assume it would be among his finest work

Sadly, it was anything but. The story is paper-thin, the dialogue is weak, and the movie itself is too damn long. If you were expecting a generic action movie, Chinese Zodiac doesn't qualify since there's barely any action in it!

But when there is action, it absolutely delivers. The film opens with Jackie's character chasing criminals while wearing a skate suit. A skate suit is... exactly what it sounds like - a full-body outfit covered in skate wheels, allowing Jackie to skate with his entire body, whether he's on his front, back, or side. And before you ask, yes, Jackie actually used a skate suit to weave around and under cars without relying on trick photography.

You'll struggle to remember many moments in this movie, but this scene is sure to stick with you until your dying day.
