The Twilight films really get a bad rap, when in reality they’re just kinda mediocre horror-romances. But there’s actually still a lot to enjoy in all of the movies. This is another case where the target audience was more the teenage girl crowd, and their obsessive fangirling put a lot of people off.
Now that the craze has died down, though, the movies can be enjoyed for what they are - classic escapist romance fantasy. You might not be the kind to get completely engrossed in the characters and be a “Team Edward” or “Team Jacob”, and if you are, well… let’s not have a repeat of 2008.
