3. Slimer Eats Hot Dogs (Ghostbusters)
This particular scene is actually part of a pretty cool (and typically 1980's) montage, following Walter Peck AKA Dickless (William Atherton) shutting down the Ghostbusters' containment unit, in which a host of ghosts and ghouls are released in to New York City. The montage itself shows the Ghostbusters' headquarters exploding in a spectacular fireworks-esq display of paranormal activity and phenomena, followed by the newly-released spectres running wild and causing chaos in the Big Apple. A rotting corpse drives a taxi, a fast-moving transparent little meanie emerges from the subway, and this specific scene is essentially two to three seconds of Slimer (who has a relatively minor role in the movies, compared to his cartoon role, and consequently has no real rapport with the viewing audiences) with a mouthful of hot dogs.
