10 Mysterious Sci-Fi Films That Gave Nothing Away
5. Mr. Nobody
Mr. Nobody is beautifully shot and has some of the most seamless editing seen in recent cinema. However, the film managed to divide audiences since it is a story which intentionally lacks cohesion.
Jared Leto portrays the last human on earth; a 118-year-old man who reflects on his life as a child, teenager, and adult. However, his memories splinters into multiple realities. In one, he was brought up by his mother but in another reality, he was raised by his father. In one memory, he is assassinated after being mistaken for a politician while in another memory, he is living on a space colony on Mars. Basically, Nobody (yes, that's actually his name) is the human version of Schrodinger's Cat. He is married and he is single. He is alive and he is dead. He is everybody and he is nobody.
Basically, this is a movie you only need to watch for five minutes before you ask, "What the hell is happening?" You can ask 20 people what Mr. Nobody is about and you may receive 20 different answers. Whether you love or hate it, it's sure to have you thinking over your own life days after viewing.
