2. Black Panther

Black Panther is another of the upcoming characters confirmed to be getting their own film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Like Carol Danvers, T'Challa breaks new ground as he becomes the first black character to headline a movie in this franchise. Set to be portrayed by Chadwick Boseman, T'Challa is royalty in the fictional African nation of Wakanda - a country set to appear for the first time in Avengers: Age of Ultron and a place that is the only place on Earth where vibranium can be found as a natural resource. Black Panther himself is an extremely skilled warrior with superhuman senses and peak human physical abilities. He wears a vibranium weave costume that renders him far less vulnerable to physical attacks. He has been long touted to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - ever since the map of key locations was seen with Wakanda highlighted in the second Iron Man movie back in 2009 - and has been a source of excitement amongst fans ever since. Now that he is confirmed, we can't wait to see him in action and adding versatility to the Avengers' roster.
