7. The Ancient One

Not knowing exactly which villain - if any - will be introduced in the Doctor Strange movie (it will probably be Baron Mordo, as it's too early for an absolute beast like Dormammu or Nightmare, but we can't be sure), the only supporting character we can be almost certain will appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first real magical outing is the titular character's mentor - the man known as the Ancient One (Wong might appear too, but the Ancient One is far more exciting). The Ancient One was the Sorcerer Supreme before Doctor Strange and Strange sought him out in the Himalayas when he lost the use of his hands. The Ancient One initially refused to help Strange, as his motives were selfish, but he changed his mind when he sensed some good in him and became his magical teacher. He is more than 500 years old and has lived that long due to his knowledge of the mystic arts. It will be awesome to see a real sorcerer for the first time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
