10 New Details You Need To Know About James Gunn's The Suicide Squad
3. Forget Killer Croc; We're Getting King Shark!
In the comics, Killer Croc is a ferocious badass and one of Batman's most formidable foes. In Suicide Squad, he was a hard to understand Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje in a rubbish costume, and not exactly a memorable part of the film. He won't be part of Gunn's movie, but Steve Agee is donning a mo-cap costume to take on the role of King Shark!
This is the CGI character we alluded to a little earlier, and while you might think this goes against what Gunn has said about practical costumes being a priority for him in The Suicide Squad, there's really no other way to bring a massive talking shark to life on the big screen. That's blatantly apparent after how lame Killer Cros looked too.
Sean Gunn (who dons a mo-cap suit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to play Rocket on the set of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies) is also set to play a CGI character, and rumour has it that he's Weasel. An obscure villain from the comics, he literally looks like a human weasel and went on a killing spree after being bullied while in college.
