10 Obvious Movie Bloopers We Can't Believe We Missed First Time
8. The Tentacle Needing A Hand - Tremors II: Aftershock
The Tremors franchise is great fun; a mid-90s series that succeeds because it doesn't take itself too seriously. The success of Tremors led to five direct-to-video sequels, the first of which was Tremors II: Aftershocks. In this sequel, the monsters have evolved and can now launch attacks above the surface. The beasts, called Graboids, have long tongues to help reel in their prey. They are much less threatening however if you are paying close attention.
As fellow Graboid hunter Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) shelters from one of the nasty creatures, it sticks its tongue out to attack him. Except, this tongue isn't being controlled by any monster. You can clearly see the white-gloved hand of a crewmember in the bottom right of the shot controlling the tongue as it hopes to turn Gummer into Graboid grub.
To be fair to Tremors II, it is possible that this mistake didn't even exist until it was re-released with a wider aspect ratio. This would also explain why it was never spotted for so long. Even so, it is a distraction in a film that otherwise rewards you for switching off your brain for 100 glorious minutes.
