10 Obvious Movie Bloopers We Can't Believe We Missed First Time

7. The Date Error - The Predator (2018)

There's a lot to both like and dislike about The Predator, Shane Black's attempt to breathe new into the Predator franchise. What it does have in its favour is a range of Easter Eggs and callbacks to previous Predator films. Everything from the Alien vs. Predator movies to the famous "get to the choppa!" line is represented. One blink-and-you-'ll-miss-it detail, however, is blatantly wrong.

In one scene, evolutionary biologist Casey Brackett (Olivia Munn) is shown images of previous predator encounters by Will Traeger (Sterling K. Brown). These images include a picture from the second movie, which was released in 1990, of a predator scaling a building. This is also the date on the picture Brackett is shown - 2nd December 1990 to be exact.

Except, Predator 2 is not set in 1990. It is set in 1997, which is even alluded to earlier in the film when they list off the years of previous predator encounters. This means that the image's date - seven years too early - is an irritating oversight. You only see the picture briefly, and so it is easy to miss, but for Predator fans in particular it is an annoying feature in an already frustrating film.
