Space Godzilla is an extra-terrestrial god of destruction. Intelligent, malicious, and almost impossibly powerful, Space Godzilla is one of Godzilla’s most ferocious enemies, and he features in one of the best Millennium Kaiju movies of the series.

In terms of the science, he’s the polar opposite to the more earthbound Kaiju like Kumonga, Kamacuras, or Mothra.

His origins are unclear, but in 1994’s Godzilla Vs. Space Godzilla, scientists speculate that a fragment of Godzilla’s DNA may have passed through a black hole and a white hole and have become space-crystallised in order to – hey, never mind. He’s an enormous evil Godzilla from space. That's all anyone needs to know.

Is it feasible that Space Godzilla could return? Who knows? There’s no reason Legendary couldn't dream up some deep space scientific team who discover or unwittingly create Space Godzilla. We could even have a mad scientist. Or insectoid mind-control aliens.
