10 Outrageously Over-Acted Moments In The Amazing Spider-Man 2

1. Pre-Electro Max Dillon

Everything about Jamie Foxx's performance as Max Dillon prior to the accident at Oscorp that led to his transformation in to the villainous Electro was extremely over-acted. Given that Foxx is far from a geek or a nerd himself, he really over-compensated for that fact by portraying the lonely Dillon in the most exaggerated manner. His movements (such as his straightening of his comb-over), his voice and his idolisation of Spider-Man (and weird fantasising about the web-slinger being his good friend) were all extremely over the top. The performance certainly did the job it was meant to do and the subsequent portrayal of Electro was far less over-performed, but Foxx's Dillon was a geek with characteristics exaggerated beyond any real world people we've ever met before. So there you have it - 10 outrageously over-acted moments in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Do you agree? Were the exaggerated performances of these actors just what a comic book movie like this one needed? Let us know in the comments box below.
