10 Outrageously Over-Acted Moments In The Amazing Spider-Man 2
6. Richard Parker's Video
There was something about the archived video of Richard Parker proclaiming his innocence regarding his part in the creation of the serum that Oscorp intended to weaponise that really didn't fit with the rest of the movie. His speech was more like a theatrical monologue than a piece of movie dialogue and it didn't feel as though it belonged in The Amazing Spider-Man franchise. That said, it was an extremely important part of the story and the fact that it felt so out of sync with the rest of the movie may well have been intentional and symbolic of the estranged relationship with Peter that was forced upon him, prior to his death, by his unwillingness to cooperate with Norman Osborn's plans.
