10 Overlooked Positives Of Batman Forever

4. The Comic Book Adaptation

DC

Like the comic book adaptation of Sylvester Stallone's dire Judge Dredd movie, this tie-in comic finds diamonds in the rough of Batman Forever, crafting a more tolerable version of the story for those who might not want to sit through Chris O' Donnell's horrible acting every time they want to see Batman and Robin take on Two-Face and the Riddler. Written by Dennis O' Neil and illustrated by Michael Dutkiewicz, Scott Hanna and Adrienne Roy, it's a brief, vivid take on the movie - its colour palette making the neon garishness of the film seem more acceptable and natural than it is on the screen.

It also includes little pieces not included in the movie, such as Two-Face breaking out of Arkham (probably lonely, being the only fellow in there) and fight scenes not hampered by Kilmer's inflexible batsuit.
