10 Overlooked Positives Of The Matrix Revolutions

6. The Club Hel Showdown

Revolutions' opening set-piece is a ludicrously entertaining sequence set in and around Merovingian's Club Hel. After dispatching the bouncers outside, Seraph, Trinity and Morpheus face off against the club's gravity-defying indoor security, resulting in a barmy shootout that's clearly aping the lobby sequence from the first movie, but it's still pretty great.

If seeing Trinity wreck one of the guards by kicking him so hard he becomes embedded in the wall isn't cool enough, she then enters into an epic Russian standoff with the Merovingian and his men in order to gain passage to Neo ("What's it gonna be, Merv?").

And that's all without mentioning how ridiculously sexy Monica Bellucci's Persephone is in this scene. Good God.
