10 Overlooked Positives Of The Matrix Revolutions

4. The Visual Effects Have Aged Surprisingly Well

There are many reasonable arguments that Revolutions goes into CGI overload at points, but watching the movie almost 15 years after its release, it's impressive how well the visual effects have aged for the majority.

While Reloaded's Burly Brawl against multiple Agent Smiths looked rather ropey even in 2003, Revolutions' effects-driven sequences actually hold up superbly well throughout, especially Niobe's ship piloting sequence, which could basically appear in any movie released today and not seem dated.

Considering how many movies from the early 2000s look absolutely horrendous by modern standards, that's quite the achievement.
