6. Surtur

Surtur is set to be the key villain in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok movie - an instalment that will have devastating effects on the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe and will include events that will be noticed all around it. With that in mind, the events will undoubtedly not go unnoticed by Thanos himself. Given that Asgard - where the majority of the movie will take place - is home to the Infinity Gauntlet, the likelihood of Thanos crossing paths with Surtur, as he did with Loki previously, is obviously very high. Could the two forces of nature form an alliance in the Infinity Gauntlet movie? Why not? Surtur craves power just as much as Thanos does and Thor: Ragnarok seems like it could be the one movie in which the villain comes out on top ("Ragnarok" being an event that kills a lot of Asgardians), so he will probably still be alive and kicking come the end of it. Of course, like many of the other potential accomplices for the Mad Titan, he might only be in it to gain power for himself, but while they stood together, the duo would make an almost unstoppable team.
