James Gunn’s Suicide Squad looks set to freshen things up considerably from the first decent if deeply flawed outing. Much has been made of the characters departing, but Killer Frost could be a decent addition to the lineup.

Danielle Panabaker has been brilliant in the role in DCEU shows The Flash and Supergirl, but she probably shouldn’t hold her breath. Given the likes of Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell haven’t crossed over to the movies despite hugely popular starring roles, it seems DC wants to keep its TV shows and its films separate.

They’re not above recasting though, with Ezra Miller joining Justice League as The Flash, so Killer Frost is still very much on the table. Natalie Dormer has a wealth of experience from Game Of Thrones and The Hunger Games, and will likely have her sights on another massive project soon.

Killer Frost has a hugely cinematic power set which has potential to make her the breakout character of the movie, so a big name actress capable of a suitably large performance is a must. With Dormer able to play sweet, innocent, sultry, manipulative and rugged, often clever enough to combine them at will, she’s an excellent potential Killer Frost.
