Since Daredevil first graced the MCU in 2015, fans have been left wondering just when - or even if - the character will get the chance to interact with Earth's Mightiest Heroes on the big screen.

While it looks unlikely to happen, there are plenty of organic ways to incorporate the MCU's Netflix characters into the wider Marvel canon. One such avenue involves a team-up between the two New York heroes with the biggest history between them: the man without fear himself, and everyone's favourite wall-crawler, Spider-Man.

Matt Murdock and Peter Parker have been massive allies in the comics for some time now, and have consequently gone onto share the page on many an occasion. The pair are pretty much best buds, and - as the desire is already there to see the two crossover on the big screen - it should, ideally, be well on its way to happening.

While the logistics of such a move are complex and even more difficult to carry out, it's a team-up Marvel should really be looking to pursue in some form or another, even with the contrasting tones of the company's big and small screen projects. Peter will have to grow up eventually, and, with those high school years behind him, an introduction to the darker elements of the MCU should be a given. Who better a guide than Matt Murdock?
