1. Last Tango In Paris (1972)
Directed by Bernardo Bertolucci, Last Tango in Paris is an erotic love Story which is so perverted, it has had a long and tortuous relationship with the film censors and certification boards. Marlon Brando plays Paul, an American hotel owner whose wife has just committed suicide. He meets a young woman called Jeanne who is interested in renting the same apartment as him. They start a torrid love affair on the proviso that names are not exchanged nor personal history. Some pervy sex happens between the pair until Paul spills his guts out to Jeanne about his life and his wife. This displeases Jeanne who wants to get away from Paul. He won't leave her alone and she is forced into drastic action to get rid of him. The pervy bits in Last Tango in Paris focus on the infamous butter buggery scene and also when Paul asks Jeanne to stick her fingers up his rectum during sex. Film critic Pauline Kael went into raptures about Last Tango in Paris - calling it the most powerfully erotic movie ever made. This piece of criticism was Kael's most influential film review and made the public very curious to see the film indeed. It is quite a heavy going movie with lots of soul baring and deep contemplation. However there is plenty of pervy sex as described above between the two leads.
