10 Planned Movie Sequels That Also Need To Be Terminated

5. Bad Boys 3

Scheduled Release Date: February 17, 2017 Will Smith passed up the opportunity to re-team with Roland Emmerich once more for this year's belated sequel Independence Day: Resurgence, but he was more than happy to give a thumbs up to a terribly unnecessary follow-up to Bad Boys, apparently. Who in their right mind would want to go back to Michael Bay for a third time? Perhaps in an attempt to "stay cool," the Fresh Prince decided that Bad Boys III was his way of getting down with the kids, whilst Independence Day: Resurgence was old hat. But go back and check out any one of those pre-existing Bad Boys films and you'll see that they've aged terribly; packed with a weird, dated energy that places them as awkward relics of their time. Bad Boys II seriously feels like the most "2000s" film ever made. Bad Boys III has been in the development stages for years, but it now has its own place in Columbia's release schedule. There's no real way that this film can be any good, because Michael Bay is at its helm and Will Smith has become a frightened shell on his former self. The money spent on this movie should be donated to charity instead.
