10 Possible New Directions For The DCEU After Michael Keaton's Return
4. Battle Of The Batmen
As mentioned previously, fans will get to see Robert Pattinson, Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck all play Batman within just a few months of each other in The Batman, The Flash and the Snyder Cut respectively, and there's still one more potential Dark Knight that could be thrown into the mix for good measure.
If the Scarlet Speedster's solo movie remains heavily influenced by the Flashpoint storyline, then there's every chance we could see Jeffrey Dean Morgan reprise his Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice cameo appearance and play a much bigger role as Thomas Wayne.
In the comic books, Wayne Snr. becomes Batman after Bruce is the one gunned down outside the theater, with Martha ending up as the Joker. While that might be a bit too wild, and DCEU fans would probably be okay if they never heard the name Martha again, putting a fourth actor under the cape and cowl might seem like overkill but it also presents plenty of unique storytelling opportunities and multiverse crossovers that we've never seen on the big screen before.
