10 Post-Credits Comic Book Film Scenes That Changed Everything

9. The Amazing Spider-Man

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 may have had an extremely disappointing post credit scene, showing us a captivating yet meaningless sequence of Mystique fighting in Days of Future Past. However, the first Amazing Spider-Man film confirmed some interesting storylines for the Spider-Man universe; Kurt Connors sits in his cell where a hidden elderly man talks of Parker€™s parents. This storyline had been hinted at during the film, but the post-credit scene confirmed that his parents must have been working on something suspicious. This was clarified in the second film, but the scene showed us that there were bigger forces at play than the giant Lizard wreaking havoc in New York City; a shadowy, criminal underworld had a sinister involvement in Parker€™s life long before he became Spider-Man. Although the implications for this scene can only spread as far as the Spider-Man universe at the moment - since Sony hold the rights - it is hard to see this as anywhere near as big as many of the MCU sequences. Yet within the universe this was of immense importance; in Sam Raimi€™s trilogy Parker€™s parents were little more than a side-note, but Marc Webb€™s effort showed that underlying themes would run throughout the franchise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ2FCqdlvBM
