10 Post-Credits Scenes That Totally Trolled Audiences
5. Letty Lives - Fast Five
The Scene: DSS agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) is working late, when Monica Fuentes (Eva Mendes, in her first appearance since 2 Fast 2 Furious) dumps a folder on his desk concerning a heist that just took place in Europe. He isn't interested, but she insists that he needs to look at it, and as he does, he sees an image of Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), who was presumed dead in the previous film yet is apparently still alive. Why It Trolled Audiences: For starters, it's a pretty huge revelation, yet was relegated to the post-credits scene in a series that wasn't exactly known for its post-credits scenes, so few audience members actually saw it.
Moreover, it was an absolutely ridiculous reveal considering the pretty unambiguous nature of Letty's death in Fast and Furious, and the sixth film as such had to rustle up a laughably convoluted reasoning for Letty's survival.
