10 Potential Directors For The Jurassic World Sequel

2. Edgar Wright

Edgar Wright is one of the few directors alive who has never made a bad film. All of his movies so far - Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World's End and Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World - have been instant classics. Wright was about to make his big debut with a massive studio film with Ant-Man, but he sadly left the project due to creative differences with Marvel. He clearly is willing to take on a big franchise though, and he could really inject some energy into Jurassic Park. All of Wright's movies are absolutely hilarious, something he was apparently bringing to Ant-Man. Why not allow him to scratch that itch with a new Jurassic Park with a huge emphasis on the jokes. In addition, Wright has an extraordinary visual eye. He's a notorious perfectionist with his movies and his films have such an energy to them, constantly moving along with an insane amount of cuts. Never in an Edgar Wright film does it feel like one single second is wasted. A Jurassic Park instalment by him would certainly feel different from all the other ones, but in a franchise going into its fifth movie maybe that's exactly what is needed.
