It's petty clear that Sony's goal with the Spider-Man franchise is to keep cranking them out as often as possible. With potential Venom and Sinister Six spin-offs already in the works, they're looking to build their own Spider-Avengers style Universe. Unfortunately, when you're owned by a different studio than all your friends you don't get to play ball with the rest of your comic book pals. But if mass production is their goal, look no further than director Justin Lin to direct at least 4 instalments for you. The reviews for the films he directed in the Fast and Furious franchise have always been mixed but it's undeniable that those movies are stuffed with balls-to-the-wall excitement, energy, and fun. Considering the scripts will be penned by writers who, hopefully, know what they're doing, Lin is the perfect candidate to send Spidey to the next level of action. Given how fast visual effects are being updated these days it seems hard to imagine any blockbuster looking better than it already does. But every year they're looking more and more believable. Combine our fast advances in effects technology with a director who knows how to deliver good, high octane action on schedule, time after time and Sony might as well get down on one knee and propose to the guy.
