For an evening of spectacularly violent action this month it's unlikely that you'll be disappointed with Mad Max: Fury Road - as the trailers have amply demonstrated this is going to be a non stop car chase shoot-em-up with a strong emphasis on carnage. Due to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on the 14th May, George Miller's long-awaited return to the franchise has been hotly anticipated ever since the first trailer was released. Tom Hardy is certainly an excellent choice to take over the role of Max Rockatansky from Mel Gibson, while Charlize Theron adds an extra layer of class as the woman accompanying him on his hazardous journey Miller has stated that he wanted Fury Road to be essentially one long car chase; he's certainly proven himself capable with the previous Mad Max films, and it will be exciting to see what he can achieve with today's special effects techniques and a much bigger budget.
