10 Predictions For Sony's 2021 Mystery Spider-Man Spin-Off Movie
9. Silver & Black
This is one that probably seems rather unlikely, but given that Sony just announced a Marvel film for next bloody year, it's going to need to be one that they've already put a lot of thought into, right?
With that in mind, there's a solid chance it could be Silver & Black. Y'know, the female-centric Spider-Man spin-off it had been planning for years that was intended to focus on mercenary Silver Sable and Spidey frenemy/lover Black Cat? Yeah, well, after a series of delays, the studio randomly cancelled the project and decided to work on solo movies for both characters instead.
Thus, there's always a chance that they'll resurrect the project to pad out the remainder of 2021. It wouldn't be too out there given that we're living in an age where they ended their Spidey deal with Marvel Studios and started a new one in the space of a few weeks. Then again, maybe they've finally got the ball rolling on Black Cat's solo adventure instead?
Either way, the future is female.
