10 Problems With Batman V Superman Nobody Wants To Admit

2. It's Too Much Too Soon

Those nay sayers criticising Warner Bros for jumping the gun a little do have a point. It's enough really that Batman V Superman is getting in the way of a proper Man Of Steel sequel, opening up the DC Cinematic Universe in a very sudden and impactful manner by revealing that the Dark Knight has been around this whole time. In fact, he's apparently been cleaning up the streets of Gotham for a good while. Weird that Clark Kent never heard anything about that growing up, but never mind. You can gloss over that. And people are jazzed to see Batman returning to the screen, especially when Ben Affleck's take looks so different from Christian Bale's. But even that would've been enough to handle. Impatient, though, Batman V Superman will reportedly also introduce Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and maybe even Aquaman. So it's gone from a world with no superheroes, to a world with a good half-dozen seemingly overnight; the population in-universe will be confused, and that'll be reflected in an audience suddenly expected to come to terms with all these new characters. When will the titular duo even have time to scrap?
