10 Properties That Could Be Netflix's Answer To Star Wars

When it comes time to think of the most well-known fantasy worlds in existence, there are a few notable settings that spring quickly to mind such as Middle-Earth, Tamriel and of course, Narnia.

The Chronicles of Narnia series written by C.S Lewis is an utterly beloved franchise that tells the story of the Pevensie children after they come to the magical land of Narnia through a suspicious wardrobe.

The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe is the first book in these character's journey and is equal parts whimsical and dark at times. The novels go on to become utterly enthralling and always have this magical sense of charm and wonder about them.

The books have been adapted several times, most notably in the form of a film series with Disney. However, although those indeed were a success, it still feels like there is more potential to be had with this project, and Netflix could be the perfect home for a new adaptation.

There has been discussion about the company's interest in the property, and as such, it seems to be the most likely entry here to come to fruition. Should Netflix do a good enough job with the series, then they could have their magnum opus on hand.
