A question that has stirred debate amongst comic book fans for decades, just who would win a fight between Batman and Superman? While it is a story that has been put onto the page more than once during the years, in 2016 cinema audiences will finally get to see the two iconic superheroes duke it out in live-action form. Based on what we know about the project so far, the answer would seem to be a simple one. In one corner we have Superman, an almost-indestructible alien that has the power to destroy anything in his path. In the other we have Ben Affleck's Batman, a grey-flecked middle-aged version of the Caped Crusader that has taken a battering during his decades-long war on crime. Of course, the battle between DC's 'big two' isn't going to be as straightforward as that by any means. As glimpsed in the Comic-Con footage, the Dark Knight sports an armored Batsuit in his attempts to take down the Man of Steel, with recent rumors indicating that the suit itself may be infused with Kryptonite in an attempt to give Batman the edge over his opponent. With Superman's only weakness likely to be a major factor in the story, look for the Caped Crusader's renowned cunning and intelligence to set them on a more level playing field than many would have anticipated. Of course, the impending Justice League movie more than likely means that the two superheroes will be fighting on the same side by the time Dawn of Justice reaches its conclusion, but watching Batman and Superman duke it out on the big screen will be a must-see blockbuster event nonetheless.
