10. Lack Of History
Ten movies in, and a big part of why fans are still so excited for every single Marvel movie is in part due to the fact that so much history between the characters has been seeded throughout them all. When the time comes for Captain America and Iron Man to turn on each other, fans can look back at the Marvel movies for clues and conversations which might have subtly been setting the stage for that fight. Warner Bros. has none of that. On the one hand, introducing the audience to the likes of Aquaman, Batman, and Wonder Woman at the same time as Superman could work really well. However, when that initial meet and greet passes, there will be no history between them to really get fans invested in the story being told, putting Batman v Superman at a serious disadvantage. Still, that's what happens when you expect one movie to set up an entire Cinematic Universe for you.
